Shaper Origin is a handheld CNC routera category of tool invented almost a decade ago. It has the familiar form factor of a traditional router, with the precision of a high-end CNC machine. You steer Origin following the path on-screen, while it makes small auto corrections within a 1/2 range, leaving you with perfect results. Cutting a joinery, profiles or patterns, and engraving for signage can all be handled directly on-tool, no programming required. It also works with almost any design software you use. Shaper Plate
Shaper Plate expands Origins capabilities by making it easy to align digital files on Origin to a pencil mark on your workpiece. Simply mark your stock, align Plate, and cut with Origin. With multiple fences along the front edge and sides of Plate, in addition to a center drop down reticle, you can align your design virtually anywhere within Plates cutting window. Best of all, just like Workstation, your Origin will remember the workspaces you create with your Plate.
- Built-in ShaperTape: Plate is made with durable and reusable ShaperTape so you can scan once and reuse Plate again and again.
- Anti-Slip Mat:Plates back side is covered in an anti-slip mat, making it easy to cut most jobs without needing to clamp Plate to your workpiece.
